Two years ago, our founder Mike Richardson lost his brave battle with cancer. Mike was an inspiring leader whose passion for helping others left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
One cause particularly close to Mike’s heart was the Teenage Cancer Trust. He always said there were young people a lot worse off than him. In October 2024, his wife Caroline bravely had her hair shaved to support the charity, honouring Mike’s memory and continuing his commitment to making a difference for young people facing cancer.

At Cushion (CPM), we were proud to contribute £1,700 to the campaign, helping take the final total raised to over £10,000. It’s a fitting way to celebrate Mike’s legacy and support a cause he cared deeply about.
Mike’s courage, dedication, and generosity continues to inspire us, and through the Teenage Cancer Trust his spirit lives on in the work that makes a real difference.
